The MGS double-inlet and double-outlet coal mill is designed based on international standards and practical on-site experience. After several rounds of optimization, it has proven highly suitable for the operational demands of large-scale thermal power plants. Drawing from the features of French BBD mills and American D-type mills, this model has been further refined for enhanced adaptability and stability.
Coal is fed into the mill through a twisted cage-type feeder. This structure is not only durable but also highly effective in handling coal with large particle sizes, high moisture content, or sticky characteristics. It helps prevent blockages and ensures smooth, continuous grinding.
The system uses a dual-feedback control approach, combining an electric ear with differential pressure monitoring. The electric ear detects changes in sound to estimate the coal level inside the mill, while pressure readings help adjust the feed rate dynamically. This combination reduces the need for manual adjustments and helps maintain stable performance, even under fluctuating load conditions.
