The PIBT Qasim Port Bulk Cargo Terminal Bulk Material Conveying Project stands as a classic bulk material conveying application in the port sector. The entire system comprises two conveying lines for coal and cement, with main equipment being Northern Heavy Industry's traditional leading belt conveyors. The total length reaches 7.8 kilometers, including a single longest belt conveyor of 2.5 kilometers, featuring a transportation capacity of 3,600 tons/hour and a belt width of 1,800mm.
Qasim Port, the second busiest port in Pakistan, handles approximately 35% of the country's cargo. The successful delivery of this project will have far-reaching significance for the development of Pakistan's Qasim Port and the implementation of China's "Belt and Road Initiative".
